KAYAK EXPERIENCE:

Daily experiences through Los Gigantes cliff starting from Punta de Teno and enjoying of Los Gigantes cliff. Our staff will make you enjoy the majesty of this amazing coast of Tenerife.

THE PRICE INCLUDES:

- Initial Instruction.

- Security surveillance with zodiac boat assistance if required.  

- Materials: Kayak, paddles, life jackets and backrests.   

- Fresh drink: water, soda or beer.

- Stop for bathing in one of the bays of the cliff. 

- Diving mask and tube for practice snorkeling.

- Personal Accident Insurance. 

- Civil Liability Insurance.

DO NOT FORGET:

Swimsuit, hat and sunscreen.

- It is imperative that yo know how to swim.

- We have a safe place to keep your belongings. 

- If there is a change in weather conditions on the day of the activity and this could not be done, it is replaced by a boat trip on the Los Gigantes cliff. If the boat trip is not possible, a refund will be made.

IMPORTANT

- Access to Punta de Teno in private vehicles is restricted. You can only get there by car as far as the municipality of Buenavista del Norte. You must then take a public bus from the Buenavista del Norte bus station to Punta de Teno. Line 369 leaves the station every hour all year round from 10:00 in the morning. The price of the single ticket is one euro and can be paid in cash, by card and with the TEN+ card. We recommend being there well in advance and taking it directly at the station, as it tends to be very crowded (see timetables and more information here).

-For the 12:00 h experience you have to take at least the bus that leaves at 11:05 h from Buenavista. For the 14:00 h experience you must take at least the bus that leaves at 13:10 h. Please allow plenty of time to get to the station and catch the bus. The courtesy waiting time at Punta de Teno is 15 minutes. Once this time has elapsed, we will start the route and no refund will be given.

- The activities at sea may be subject to possible timetable changes. Please note that there are no restaurants, shops or food and beverage outlets at Punta de Teno. Therefore, regardless of the chosen time of hire, we recommend that you always bring something to eat and drink.  

- If, due to weather conditions, we have to cancel the experience on the same day, it will be replaced by one of our boat trips along the cliffs of Los Gigantes. If the latter is also not possible, a refund will be made.

- The activity includes souvenir photographs (you can download them from the Discover Teno facebook page). Although you should know that, due to the special difficulty of taking pictures at sea, we can not guarantee good quality images or pictures of all participants. In addition, on days when the sea or wind conditions are not particularly good, our monitors will focus mainly on supervising the safety of the participants and will not take photographs. We ask for your full understanding.
